Why Less Cleansing Can Produce More Beautiful Skin

Many people believe thorough cleansing is the key to beautiful skin. While this is true when removing makeup, the opposite is true with a daily regimen. By following one simple step, you can have softer, more beautiful skin.

One rule most experts agree on is removing makeup before bedtime. This can be done by using a good makeup remover that is formulated for your skin type. Then, wash your face thoroughly with a cleanser that is also formulated for your skin type. Once your face is cleansed, pat dry, and then apply Fractionated Coconut Oil. It’s widely known that a good night’s sleep can produce better skin; with makeup removed, your skin can breathe and repair itself while you rest.

Upon rising, it’s natural to rush to the sink to scrub your face; your skin may feel oily, which prompts you to scrub even more. This may not be the best thing to do.

Unless you have problem skin, extremely oily skin, or sweat excessively, that morning cleanser can be skipped. By eliminating a cleanser, and washing with a Konjac Sponge, you reduce the chance of stripping the skin of important, necessary oils. It will make you feel refreshed and clean without the harsh side effects of washing your face.

Try the following tips for healthy morning facial cleansing:

1. Wash your hands before washing your face.

2. Adjust the water to a tepid temperature; hot water can damage the skin.

3. Place the Konjac Sponge under water until it turns hard to a soft sponge.

4. In a circular motion, wash your face thoroughly.

5. Pay particular attention to areas that are prone to outbreaks, such as the nose, sides of nose, and chin.

6. Follow with a rinse of cool water; then gently pat dry.

7. Hang dry your sponge until next use

By using less daily cleanser, the natural oils can do their job; oil glands keep skin moist and supple. By washing too often, or using excessive cleansers, natural oils can be removed. When the natural oils are stripped, further dryness can cause oil glands to work overtime. Unfortunately, this could make you want to wash even more. You don’t want to do that.

By removing makeup and washing thoroughly before bedtime, you can reduce the need for excessive facial washing and harsh cleansers the next morning. By combing this routine with a balanced diet, reduced stress, and a regular exercise routine, you may soon see glowing, healthy, supple skin. You may even need less moisturizer!
