Natural Makeup Removers

Putting on makeup in the morning is a part of most women’s daily routine. Taking it off in the evening is just as important, because makeup that is left on overnight can do a lot of harm to your skin. There is no need to buy expensive, chemical makeup removers, though, because there are a lot of organic, everyday ingredients that you can use to remove your makeup.

Fractionated Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is an effective makeup remover all by itself. It works particularly well on eye liner and mascara . All you need to do is gently rub it into your skin, and then wipe it off using a washcloth.

Almond Oil and Milk

Combine 1 tablespoon of milk with a few drops of almond oil and soak it up with a cotton ball. Use the cotton ball to apply the mixture to your face. Not only does this mixture effectively remove your makeup, it also makes your skin moist and smooth.

Baking Soda and Honey

Stir 1 teaspoon of baking soda into ¼ cup of honey. The baking soda is mildly abrasive, and scrubs the makeup off of your skin, and the honey carries it away. The honey also helps pull it right out of your pores, and kills any bacteria on your skin, leaving it less prone to pimples. This mixture is able to remove even the most difficult makeup with ease.

Aloe Vera and Olive Oil

Mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil together with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel or juice. Apply it to your face and then just wipe it away. Besides removing your makeup, this mixture also nourishes and moisturizes your skin. This is the remover to use if you have sensitive skin.

These all-natural makeup removers are easy and inexpensive. They are also good for your skin. Try one before you buy another expensive, chemical makeup remover.
